WHO AM I ???

“Who am I” is an article which contains about how you know yourself deeply. This article is the first task of “Kakak Asuh” Program, as the follow up of “Sehat 2014”. So, I have to finish this article before the deadline. I want to describe who I am in this article and how I know and understand myself deeply, about my identity, character, big dreams, motivation, etc. So, let’s go on.

First, I want to introduce myself. I present my identity with this following table:

When I was child, I stayed in Batam for 5 months. Then, I went back to Banyuwangi and I did my education in Banyuwangi from elementary school until senior high school. When I was 6 years old, I went to SDK Bakti Rogojampi and start my elementary education there for a year. When I was in 2^nd grade, I moved to SDK Santa Maria and I finished my elementary school study there with score 26.60 for 3 lessons in finish exam. Then I continued my study at Santo Yusup’s Junior High School. I have studied there for 3 years and I graduated with score 34.85 for 4 lessons. Then I continued my study at a senior high school, SMAN 1 Giri. I have finished my study there for 3 years and I graduated with little score, 45.75 for 6 UAN lessons. I didn’t pass SNMPTN. So, I joined SBMPTN and I passed it. I accepted in here, Nutrition – Faculty of Public Health – University of Airlangga.

As long as my education history, I have joined many organizations. In elementary school, I joined Scouts, so do at junior high school. I knew OSIS when I started study at junior high school and I joined it. I was a secretary in OSIS SMPK Santo Yusup for 2 year, 2008-2010 and I was chief of Girl Scouts in 2009. When I was at 9^th grade, I knew about Ekklesia, a teenager Christian organization. I was believed by my priest to be a board there. In 2009-2010, I was a treasurer in Ekklesia and in 2011-2013, I was a chief of Ekklesia. In my first year at senior high school, I joined OSIS and be a secretary again. I joined Chemistry Club and be a secretary too for 2 years, 2011-2013. In senior high school, I joined to in Journalism and Choir extracurricular. Now, I am at university and I join Amazi (as the organization of Nutrition’s Student), UKM Penalaran (Journalism), UK3 and DKK (as the Christian organization). I have plan for next semester, I will join Vvoice, maybe, after I can set my schedule.

About achievement, when I was in 11^th grade, I got second rank of Chemistry OSN in Regional level. Then, I represented Banyuwangi in OSN Province level. But, I just got 10^th rank, I didn’t continue to OSN in national level. I very love chemistry. So, I joined many Olympiad. UIN, UNEJ, UNESA, UNAIR Chemistry Olympiad, I have joined. I arrived in final stage of UIN and UNEJ Chemistry Olympiad, but I didn’t be the first, second, or third rank. Just being the fifth and sixth rank. That’s academic achievement what I have.

Beside on my identity and my story above, you have known my character, right? I have positive and negative characters. I am an independent girl, I do everything what I can by myself. But, sometimes this character make me egoist and not to care to other people. I’m careful, this character very supports my activity and make me set my time easily. I don’t like to waste my time, I will do what I can do now, I don’t like delay my work. I am sensitive, I don’t know how to change this character. I can cry easily. I’m honest and discipline. Sometimes, being honest is hard and hurt, but being honest makes a peace in my heart. Sometimes, being discipline is “mbangkelno” (sory, I said it in Javanese), because when I have on time and other people can’t on time. So, I must wait and waiting is boring. Waiting is waste my time too.

Then, about what I want in next time, about my big dreams. When I was in elementary school, I had a dream to have a salon. When I was in junior high school, I would be a designer and had a dream to have a cloth shop. When I was in senior high school, I had a dream to be a teacher or lecture and built a Study Institution. I would be a pharmacist too. But, when I was at last year in senior high school, I still want to be a lecture, but I want to be a dietitian too. So, I answer why I enter this major, nutrition major in University of Airlangga. Now, I have a new big dream, I want build a diet clinic. But, my big dreams before still there in my heart. I want create that too. I pray and I work hardly to get this all. Let God show His way for my life.

To bring all of my big dreams in reality, I need motivation. But, according to me, the big motivation is by myself. It back again about the purpose in life, glorify God with doing what God has prepared for my life, being a person who useful for other people. Sometimes, we get down, but remember, a successful person is person who keep stand up despite have gotten down. Other motivation, I get from support by my parents, my brother, my family, and my friends.

Agnes Monica is my idol. I am inspired by her. She has many talents and developing her talents. She never gives up and she is a hard worker. Although she is success, she never forgets God. All what happens in life is known by God. Believe that God has good plan of this life. That’s why I am inspiring her.

That’s all what I can describe who I am. I know myself deeper than other people know me. So, don’t judge the book by its cover, look the content first and then you can judge it. Thank you.
